For the new Koorong Bookstore on Payneham Road in Adelaide, Vinylised delivered a comprehensive signage solution featuring a wide spectrum of elements: 3D fabricated lettering, hand-painted wall art, visually striking wall wraps, non-illuminated 3D section headers, large-scale external fascia signage, and window signage to elevate both interior and exterior presence.

The Challenge

This was no small job—it encompassed a variety of signage types across a large footprint. The key hurdles included coordinating with builders to work in stages as areas became accessible, handling installations at height (with boom lifts), and managing oversized materials in tight spaces. Reaching elevated surfaces safely and efficiently required careful planning and seamless communication between our team and the onsite construction crew.

Our Solution

From day one, we engaged closely with both the builder and Koorong’s project manager to phase our installs in line with construction progress. This meant breaking down the project into manageable zones—starting with internal headers and wall art, moving next to window and wrap applications, and finally tackling the high-level external fascia once scaffolding and lifts were in place. Our team deployed boom lifts for elevated work, ensuring precision and safety. We also adapted quickly when timelines shifted, keeping momentum and meeting our milestones.

The Result

The signage was completed well ahead of the handover date, achieving a polished, cohesive aesthetic that matched Koorong’s brand identity and shopper experience goals. Every signage element—from the elegant 3D lettering to the inviting wall wraps—came together to create a welcoming, visually dynamic space. Koorong’s new store now communicates its identity both beautifully and effectively.
